Holger entered the commercial property industry at Müller International in Düsseldorf in 1995. In 1997, he moved to Comfort, then a subsidiary of Müller and a company that specialises in retail properties. In 2002, he founded City Projekt with its headquarters in Düsseldorf. City Projekt Switzerland was developed and founded in 2009. In 2013, a merger was agreed between City Projekt and Comfort, a new company was founded in Comfort High Street Swiss AG and an office was opened in Zurich. Schiekiera was working there as managing director and partner. In August 2017, he moved back to City Projekt and reactivated the company.

Marc-Oliver entered the commercial property industry at Engel & Völkers Commercial Cologne in the investment department in 2003. Following the expansion of the Cologne office, he moved to Lührmann and Kemper’s Jones Lang LaSalle as a retail specialist. In 2009, he joined City Projekt and became responsible for the development of City Projekt Switzerland. In 2013, he moved to Zurich as the head of investment at Comfort High Street Swiss AG. He has been a partner & managing director at City Projekt Swiss GmbH since September 2018.
